Strategic storytelling
for Africa

Founder standing outdoors with city buildings and mountains in the background

Harry founded Leopard PR with the mission of helping Africa’s most dynamic companies tell their stories to the world and achieve greater commercial success.

A Cambridge-educated former business and financial journalist, he has contributed to leading publications across Africa, the UK, the Middle East, and Asia.

His time in the newsroom gave him first-hand insight into what journalists look for in a story – and how businesses can cut through the noise. This experience now shapes Leopard PR’s approach: strategic, media-savvy, and with a global perspective that empowers African firms to take their narratives to the world stage.

Harry has advised clients ranging from early-stage start-ups to established financial institutions and consultancies. With a passion for African markets, he combines sharp analysis with hands-on collaboration, ensuring every campaign is both creative and commercially effective.

“We understand what journalists and businesses want – because we’ve been on the other side.”

Proven success
in African and
global markets

  • Leopard PR was engaged to support a prominent African business leader establish a boutique advisory firm in Tokyo, focused on helping Japanese investors access African markets. During the launch phase, Leopard PR played a pivotal role in building the firm’s presence across Japan and Africa, securing high-profile interviews, thought leadership opportunities, and media commentary across a range of tier-one platforms in both regions. This strategic visibility positioned the firm as a trusted bridge between Japanese investors and African market opportunities.

  • Leopard PR supported a high-growth Ethiopian tech startup through a critical funding round, helping the team clearly articulate their investment proposition to potential backers. Leopard PR then amplified their story by securing high-profile coverage on leading business platforms, ensuring visibility where investors and business leaders actively engage. This strategic exposure strengthened the startup’s credibility and positioned them for productive investor engagement ahead of a successful $7 million fundraise.

  • Leopard PR supported a Zambian tech firm as it expanded into South Africa, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, providing targeted PR strategies to reach new consumer audiences and establish a strong regional presence. Leopard PR also assisted a South African tech firm in entering the UK and US markets, securing high-impact media coverage and thought leadership opportunities that positioned the company as a credible player on the international stage.
